The Pharis Family Daily Intel Brief (Unclassified Version). Monday, June 11, 2012. We decided to take advantage of the lovely weather and take a weekend trip to Strasburg, PA. We heard great things about the area.nestled in Amish Country.a huge train museum and most importantly.a life-size Thomas the Train. Apparently at daycare he told them that he needed to potty and in deed went to the potty. I realize that I am officially a mom.because this was quite exciting to me. He was so well-behaved that people were commenting about what a good baby he was. It was so great to get off the plane! Baxter and The Roo.And Love Bug Too! Saturday, December 28, 2013. Today we went hiking at Caledon State Park with our neighbors. It's amazing to have such beautiful state parks so close to home. It ended up being a 3 mile round trip hike. The weather was beautiful and the beach are on the Potomac was fantastic. I even found a sharks tooth. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Vacation at Grandma and Grandpa's. Grandma, Grandpa, Anna and Aidyn on the train. The last week of July marked Anna's favorite vacation of the year: a week in Ohio at Grandma and Grandpa's house. As always, Grandma and Grandpa had a bunch of fun activities planned. The fun for the week included:. A trip to JoAnn Fabrics with Grandma and making some bags for Anna's friends. Learning to drive great grandpa's riding lawn mower (otherwise known as the club cadet). 1st Day of 4th Grade!

Baxter and The Roo.And Love Bug Too! Friday, December 20, 2013. Roo was sick and missed school on Thursday and Friday. I sent his teacher an email to let him know why he was missing school and he replied saying that Roo had made us some gifts and if I could to stop by and pick his stuff up. I did, and as I looked through everything (but the gifts), I found this project and it brought an instant smile and chuckle! It says "If I lived in a snow globe I would play hide n go seek inside the snow.".

Baxter and The Roo.And Love Bug Too! Monday, May 6, 2013. Great Train Race and Caboose Run. Bug ran in the caboose run which is a quarter of a mile. Daddy ran with him and held his hand for the hill portion to slow him down since he was running so fast. He was very proud to tell everyone that he ran faster than his daddy! His 7 events and results were as follows:. 25 Free - added a tiny bit of time. 25 Breast - didn't DQ for the first time! 50 Back - took time off, said he meant to crash into the wall with his head! 100 Free - took time off, 1st in his heat, 7th overall, time was under 2 minutes. 50 Free - took time off. Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Enjoying seafood on the Chesapeake Bay. Sunday was Father's Day, which meant a day of letting Dad decide what he wanted to do. For Joe, this meant the following:. Sleeping in until 9. Reading the Sunday newspaper in a leisurely manner while drinking coffee. Spontaneously deciding around 11 AM to explore the Virginia side of the Chesapeake. 3 words to describe my dad: awesome, funny, crazy (even though he says he's not). To keep my dad happy: I tease him. My Dad is an excellent cook.

Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Girl Scout Cookies and Las Vegas Snowstorm. Anna delivering cookies before the snow. If it is February, it can only mean three things:. 1 Girl Scout Cookies Arrive. 2 Joe goes to Las Vegas. 3 We have a snowstorm. It should be noted that items number 2 and 3 on the list usually occur at the same time. This year was no exception, although the timing of the snowstorm was a bit off. Joe is home to shovel!
