Student artists in K4 through 6th grade compete in five media categories. First and second places are awarded at the district level, with the first place winners advancing to the Overall Competition. That might be interesting in a still life.pieces of driftwood.antlers.an interesting shell or rock.unusual feathers.that old insect collection.the possibilities are endless! The pictures (especially those of landscapes, flowers and animals) will be great references for the children! Scratched/old dvds or cds.

The beautiful pottery pieces below were made by our Sixth Graders using a variety of construction techniques. Some made pinch pots, while others combined slab and coil techniques on their truly unique creations. I think the results are pretty SPECTACULAR! Sunday, October 12, 2014.
