The quest to put the old back in our 109-year-old house (with some modern conveniences) and other fun with salvaged materials and power tools. Sunday, March 23, 2014. Yesterday we were out for breakfast on Mississippi Ave, and as is often the case this was followed by a romp through the ReBuilding Center. We really do love this place! http://yourhomebs.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
My Mini Home Remodels. Friday, December 6, 2013. A quick little job, and number two with my nifty new tile saw! Three of these stone tiles broke off of this bathtub surround and needed replacing. one was still whole, the other two I had to cut new tiles out of the one remaining partial tile that they found out in the garage! While I was at it, I resealed the grout in the room, and recaulked around the tub and sinks, because there is a little guy who likes to use this tub as his personal swimming pool.
