I’d prefer the primarily white. The black and white contrast is a bit harsh right now, but I am planning on adding lace appliqué and pearls and crystals (tastefully! My custom, from-scratch, so-mocked-up pattern. And I compared it with my sketch (remember that? Cut to spare feeds. Oh, and my dress form should have arrived today!

Then I pressed the seam allowances on the silk layer to the back, and the seam allowances on the lining layer to the front, so all the seam allowances will nest together along the seams and not create bulk only on one side.
