So after my last uneventful month and my current thought process that I was just too “emerged” in my community I set out expecting nothing eventful too happen……. Well when it rains, it pours……. My day of October 26th, 2012 went like this:. After arriving back into the center of Cerro Pelado I got a phone call from my host sister that I had during training to inform me that she had her baby two days ago! I just had a baby named after me!

It’s funny, when I was in Lesotho and would have to transport my kitty to the vet or another volunteer’s house for kitty sitting I would be the most hated person on the kombi (public transportation van).
