One man's journey from the Corporate to the Agrarian for the sake of Faith and Family. Monday, June 22, 2009. We are coming to the end of our first experiment with raising broilers. All in all, its been good. We've had fun being chased by the Rocks (Cornish Rock Cross) and hearing our adolescent rooster learn how to crow. This morning when he crowed at 5:00 am I made the appointment with the lady down the street to process the batch. I will be dropping them off tomorrow morning. Posted by tc @ 5:58 PM.

One man's journey from the Corporate to the Agrarian for the sake of Faith and Family. Sunday, July 29, 2007. We therefore decided that we would continue driving through the driveway and see how much we could see from the road. It was then that our Realtor showed up, and we followed him as we cautiously entered the neighborhood a second time. Who Let the Dogs Out? And so we pray for God’s grace and direction. May God give us the grace to understand and to choose His will as we seek Him in all of this...

One man's journey from the Corporate to the Agrarian for the sake of Faith and Family. Saturday, August 4, 2007. Wanna Buy Some Haunted Swampland? One of the questions that always comes to mind as we look at another farm or property is, Lord, is this the place you have for us? My wife usually prays that the Lord might make it abundantly clear if we should keep looking, and it is interesting to see how the Lord sometimes answers that prayer. We had checked earlier, and it had been shut tight and locked...

One man's journey from the Corporate to the Agrarian for the sake of Faith and Family. Monday, June 18, 2007. Tale of Two Projects - and One to Come. This has been the year for finishing projects! I already mentioned in a previous post. How I finished my fireplace project back in April. What I didn't mention was that I started that project back in 1999. That was to be our Y2K heat source. That means it took me about 8 years to finish that fireplace. That's not too good. After all the pavers were laid, I ...

One man's journey from the Corporate to the Agrarian for the sake of Faith and Family. Saturday, March 24, 2007. This past week has been kind of hard for me. I'm not sure if there is any one thing, or even a combination of things I can point to - it was just hard. It is also at times like this that I really need to remind myself why we even began this conversation, this journey. And so, today I remind myself of one of our goals: to be free. How many of us enter bondage with our eyes open? Many Christians...

http://www.anemergentagrarian.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
One man's journey from the Corporate to the Agrarian for the sake of Faith and Family. Friday, February 23, 2007. Welcome to "An Emergent Agrarian" - one man's journey from Corporate to Agrarian for Faith and Family. Perhaps I may bring another perspective to the corpus of agrarian literature, for I am not the son of an agrarian or even the grandson of an agrarian. I am a software programmer, son of a corporate vice-president, grandson of a company president. May it be, Lord. Posted by tc @ 8:20 AM.
