Anchor for the Soul. Monthly Archives: September 2013. September 12, 2013. That’s how I feel in my spiritual walk right now. I sense I’m at a standstill and I’m going through the emotions of movement. I’m convincing myself of growth, but am in reality barely getting back into actively craving and pursuing God. I’m viewing my walk with the Lord with a false perception. And it’s easy to fall into a religious routine void of all things Jesus. Why hang out with cookie cutter Christians, when I want a beer?

Anchor for the Soul. A little poem →. What Dreams May Come. February 23, 2013. I will avert my eyes no longer. Three years ago I had never heard the term human trafficking . I was oblivious to how deep, dark and convoluted the problem was. My world was much smaller as I had just graduated from college and tended to keep my mind centered on issues that only affected the United States (Not to say the U.S. doesn’t face the issue of human trafficking). I was living in ignorance. But God had different plans.
