Friday, September 19, 2008. Exciting weekend when Jackie, Kathy and Kristina came to visit me over my birthday weekend. We saw a 3-D movie, made herb butter, played some poker and eat some good food. We also caught 2 skunks (one got out of the trap), I caught him again later in the week, chased chickens in a wind storm and watched a DVD huddled around my laptop (power outages all over the city. 300,000 customers without power). Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Only 44 Days till the big family vacation. Friday, March 19, 2010. Tax Season is almost over and Spring is almost here. Only 4 more week and tax season will be over and life goes back to normal. Or almost. Going to be a busy spring and summer here in Louisville. Weather's finally get warm and grass is already turning green, daffodils are popping out of the ground and the white rooster spends his day following any hen that looks his way. 64 Days till Outer Banks.

Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Christmas 2009 and the coming year. Not much to say about this Christmas. Was wonderful to see the whole family together at Kathy and Mike's. Dinner was terrific and the ham gravy was perfect. Thanks Kathy. My extended stay (this is Bobby D) in Buffalo was nice, except for the cold weather and the short hospital stay. Wednesday, October 04, 2006. You never really know how close family can be. What makes us close? Is it the blood relationship or some other kind of bond. I was lucky to babysit Brad and his sister Tori last Saturday. They are step brother and sisters as they have different fathers. I was totally amazed at how close their relationship is even though they live in seperate homes now. Tori totally adores Brad. You can see it in her eyes. I hope that they always stay close no matter what path their lives take.
