Peanut free now: May 2011

http://peanutfreenow.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 10, 2011. It's Food Allergy Awareness Week. In it's honor, I have decided to use word of mouth to educate and hopefully make others more aware of food allergies. I had no intention of educating someone on Mothers Day. I was in a huge hurry trying to get our bag packed to head to my moms house and for the long trip down, but like everything else it didn't go as planned. We chatted briefly and he was surprised that Enjoy Life was made in a nut free facility. He also had no idea that they w...

Peanut free now: May 2013

http://peanutfreenow.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 29, 2013. On-the-Go treat win for Enjoy Life! Recently I was sent some samples of Enjoy Life's new product, Decadence Bars, to try out and review. Hannah was super excited for them to get to our house, she would check the porch for deliveries every day :). Hannah has had anaphylaxis to cross contamination before in the past. They come in 4 terrific flavored! They are smartly wrapped in individual cute on-the-go single servings which makes it the perfect treat to toss in a bookbag or purse.

Peanut free now: Let us eat cake--hopefully?!

http://peanutfreenow.blogspot.com/2013/05/let-us-eat-cake-hopefully.html

Saturday, May 11, 2013. Let us eat cake- hopefully? I am sitting here waiting and hoping. I wanted to make a cake for Hannah's baptism tomorrow. Then I ran into a problem, I couldn't find my trusty tried-and-true favorite cake recipe. After a full search I ended up searching for one online that sounded comparable. I made it up and switched out all-purpose flour to cake flour like I have always done. So here I am waiting. Very impatiently I may add. Hoping and praying that this turns out decent. Let us ea...

Review of Enjoy Life Foods Gingerbread Cookies. Jun 20, 2010. This is the third of five reviews for Enjoy Life Foods Cookies. For this review, we tried the Gingerbread Cookies (affiliate link). Needless to say this was not our favorite cookie from Enjoy Life. What did you think? Review of Enjoy Life Foods Snickerdoodle Cookies. Jun 17, 2010. In this, our se...

Peanut-Free Migraine Mom

Is the one we go through the fastest, here is another great one that doesn’t have migraine triggers. We used to add Cranraisins to this recipe, but discovered that these are major migraine triggers for us; the granola is a great snack without them though. 3 cups old-fashioned oats. 1/2 cup quinoa, uncooked. 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. 1/2 tsp. sea salt. 1/4 cup coconut oil. 1/2 cup maple syrup. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Roasted Vegetables with Quinoa Rice.
