September 28, 2011. Happy 28th *GOLDEN* Birthday. Turning 28 on the 28th of September. For the past few years since we have been married, James has always eluded to the fact that he didn't/doesn't want a whole lot of hoop-la for his big day. I have usually respected his wishes. casually giving small gifts and maybe going out to eat. Nothing too fancy. This year was different. It was his golden birthday. How could I just celebrate with mediocrity. PLUS I found out by his sister Ashley and Grandma Smith.

August 25, 2012. It ALL starts with this cake. My little lady wanted a watermelon cake. Not a cake shaped as watermelon. She wanted her watermelon. This fruit has been her favorite before she would speak. Therefore, on her birthday. I made her this cake. She loved it. ANd so did I. Thanks, sweet avery girl for being my baby. Birthday girl letting the camera know how old she is. We spent the entire week before her birthday getting ready for the big day. 1) made/decorate watermelon pinata. August 1, 2012.

January 29, 2012. So we just need to take a minute to recognize and review our blessings. Here is our list:. So mild it feels like it is still fall, which means non-snowy roads. Makes the 4 hour drive easier. 2)We prayed that whatever "condition" Jack was born with, let it be mild. He may have the most severe case of bilateral clubfoot, but has a VERY mild case of Arthrogryposis,. Which is such a huge blessing and could easily be overlooked. 3)Grandpa P diagnosed with colon cancer. I love this idea.
