A super hero filled afternoon at the Pecan Fest. Lydia, the festival shop-a-holic. Julia and her new hat. Sawyer, in the same bounce house that Julia eventually broke her leg in. Spencer was thrilled when the face painter offered to paint a fire truck on his cheek. Lydia, the sand art Picasso. You got Batman's autograph. And there is Wolverine! Then the kids and their WonderAunt met Wonder Woman! AwwJulia hurt herself, might be time to go. Julia riding with Spencer on the train. And Lydia rode with Sawyer.

A trip to the school yard. - -2007-. Living close to the school has a major perk.we can walk over and play on the playground any time we want. Here are a few warm spring days we spent playing at the playground behind the school.sometimes Lydie will join us, but sometimes she is far too grown up. ;). A trip to the local school playground was just what we needed to get out of the house.

At the end of the school year in 2007, we packed up the kids and headed down to Corpus to see my best friend and her boys.and while we were there, of COURSE we hit the beach! The kids and I having a day of fun in the sun. We decided to let the waves sneak up behind us. The boys stuck close to me, digging in the sand. They loved running through the water. Here are my surfer-girls. As sad as Lydia looks, I swear she was having fun. ;0. Now she is smiling! Here we go.running again! Hey, kids.wait for me!

Friday, May 2, 2008. I love the shade this tree gives us, just past our patio.but these little berries are the devil. Eventually they will turn red, and start falling onto the ground by the hundreds.flies will buzz, the patio will smell like old fruit, and there are so many(and they are so small) you can never EVER pick them all up.
