Every second Saturday of the month, you can find Peapods gathered at Twyford Scout Headquarters. On Loddon Hall Road in Twyford, Berkshire, RG10 9JA. From 10.30am to 12.30pm. Twyford Scout Headquarters has a large room for play and great disabled access, including a disabled toilet and lots of parking. Several trained members of staff supervise the activities and all staff members and volunteers are CRB-checked. See what we get up to. Digging for treasure in the sand. A platter of fruit to tuck into.

My phone rings: "Er, we may have to switch to Plan B - Mudeford Beach is covered in diggers! Oh dear. Suffice to say, the day did not start well. However, this was definitely a blessing in disguise. Plan B involved switching venue to Boscombe Bay which turned out to be ideally suited to our needs.
