Barron's Blended-Learning (and other) Endeavors : CUE the Recovery
http://blendedbarron.blogspot.com/2015/03/cue-recovery.html
Barron's Blended-Learning (and other) Endeavors. I'm a high school English teacher moving into the world of blended-learning (I'm using more technology in my classroom). This blog will be about my adventures (or misadventures) in that process. Wednesday, March 25, 2015. I really do. I love the CUE Conference, and I want to go every year. Yet, I need time to recover and sort through all the information I gathered. One thing I do want to share that I've tried out with my 11th grade students is Pear Deck.

Google for Education Training. Google for Education Training. Classroom Essentials - Pear Deck. Each and every lesson in my classroom had a Google Slides presentation. This included my "Do Now" activity, agenda, objectives, directions for activities etc. even if I wasn't going to be doing any lecturing that day. Best logo ever or best logo ever? There are many question types, including your basic text and multiple choice questions all the way up to my favorite, a "drawing" question. Students can mark...

Õppevideo koostamine ja rakendamine. Veebipõhised keskkonnad ja võrgustikud. March 9, 2016. Erilisi takistusi mu...

The Electric Educator: Big Screen vs. Small Screens
http://electriceducator.blogspot.com/2015/01/bigscreen.html
Monday, January 12, 2015. Big Screen vs. Small Screens. I get regular solicitations from EdTech companies wanting me to feature their product or service on my blog. I'm honored that they have identified me as someone with influence and trust who can help them promote their product. Several years ago I made the decision not to accept paid content insertions; I believe my independence is worth far more than I could make by accepting payment for a post. Their response [my paraphrase]. Every classrooms need ...
