Gods Gifts in Marriage, Motherhood, Homemaking and Life. Wednesday, August 15, 2012. I love this girl. She wants to wear dresses and keep her hair down in curls but as soon as she can take off her shoes and wade through a freezing creek, she's there with a smile and sense of adventure. Saturday, August 11, 2012. Just a Couple August Pictures. Here we are at the 1920's Museum Fundraiser,. Of the 1924 film "Grasshopper Glacier". Yes, black and white with no sound! Treasuring It Up: April 2012
http://treasuringitup.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Gods Gifts in Marriage, Motherhood, Homemaking and Life. Monday, April 30, 2012. Happy Birthday, Man-oh! I realize this is a week late but these were my thoughts on April 20. It seemed like forever in a moment. The miracle of you left us spellbound. Now we are here with our eyes meeting again. Yours blink with sleep. Mine fill with tears as I remember that first time. I finish my song and bow my head whispering a prayer for you. Your thick lashes close over chocolate brown eyes with a deep sigh of pe...

Treasuring It Up: March 2012
http://treasuringitup.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Gods Gifts in Marriage, Motherhood, Homemaking and Life. Sunday, March 25, 2012. Dry Dock, Wet Spring. Today after church, we joined some friends for their "Dry Dock Party". Which means, there was a boat out of water that the kids could climb on :-). We played games and roasted hot dogs. Brandt discovered the joys of stick horse racing. Charissa played bean bag toss with Daddy. And then, four of us strapped on snowshoes. And headed out to see Bridal Falls. Are we there yet, Mama? Boy toy truck mud = bliss.

Gods Gifts in Marriage, Motherhood, Homemaking and Life. Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Three Births, Three Ways Part 2. Why We Chose a Home Birth. After Charissa, I knew I wanted something dramatically different. We had moved from Colorado to Oklahoma and now lived much closer to a hospital. I had always hoped for a home birth after watching my Mom have my little brother aided by a midwife. She still says that in all her 11 births, his was the best and easiest. At the time, she did not have a birth center.

Gods Gifts in Marriage, Motherhood, Homemaking and Life. Saturday, October 5, 2013. Just wanted to holla a "sorry! Those of you who might still be reading this forsaken blog. I blog to connect and hear from ya'll and I miss it. I'm pretty embarrassed ending with the "2" of a "3" part series. Lame. A little run down of where I'm at right now. I learned something un-birth related while typing these accounts as well. Blogging can take way more time and energy out of my day than it should.

Gods Gifts in Marriage, Motherhood, Homemaking and Life. Thursday, June 28, 2012. If You Give a Fox a Sirloin. If you give a fox a sirloin - well maybe the fatty bits of sirloin. She will come back and want some bacon scraps. The bacon scraps will entice her to come back. For some baked chicken skins. Which will lead to leftover pork roast. From a picky toddler the next night,. And she will know that you know. She has three little kits just down the road,. And that you're in a weakened state of pregnancy,.

Treasuring It Up: Three Births, Three Ways Part 1
http://treasuringitup.blogspot.com/2013/02/three-births-three-ways-part-1.html
Gods Gifts in Marriage, Motherhood, Homemaking and Life. Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Three Births, Three Ways Part 1. And now, after that lengthy disclaimer, let's talk 'bout birthin' babies! The Natural Hospital Birth. Warning: I mean, duh, this is about birth. It includes anatomy and stuff. This is also, astronomically, my most frustrating and disappointing birth. It has taken me 5 years to process it and come to peace with what it was and what it wasn’t. Why We Chose A Hospital Birth. After research...
