http://gabbingina.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Just my simple thoughts on our struggle with infertility, our road to parenthood through the blessing of adoption, and how God brought us through it all. Thursday, June 19, 2014. It started out really good. Baby boy slept most of the morning not really wanting to be awake in-between feedings. (Growth spurt? Q is not the easiest baby and I struggle to get anything, and I mean anything, else done in my day. That never use to bother me but now I f...

Our silly old lives: Yummy Lentil Soup
http://oursillyoldlives.blogspot.com/2013/03/yummy-lentil-soup.html
Our silly old lives. It's just us. Silly people. Sunday, March 24, 2013. This recipe has been a staple in our house for the last few years. Typically I make a giant batch in the fall (harvest) season so I can use up fresh veggies from the garden and freeze them in usable form. Usually in the large recipe I substitute some grains in place of some of the lentils to provide different nutrients and different texture. 1 onion, chopped. 1/4 c olive oil. 2 carrots, diced. 2 stalks celery, chopped. 10 min before...

http://oursillyoldlives.blogspot.com/2013/11/chick-pea-love.html
Our silly old lives. It's just us. Silly people. Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Advent is another vegan season for us. And as I get older the more I fall in love with "ethnic" foods. These are some staples with the traditional Chick Pea that are our favorites. I canned 14 pints of chick peas. 3 cans garbanzo beans. 2 1/2 Tbs lemon juice.
