PEA POD-Plymouth Environmental Action Conservation Volunteering.: July 2015

http://peathepod.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html

Thorn Park Garden Restoration and Mini-Bus Scrub 25th July 2015. This week we headed off 'all so far' - a 10 minute journey to. Thorn Park, just North of the city centre of Plymouth. With an ample team today we were ready to assist with the ongoing. Restoration of these Victorian medical gardens based right in the heart of the city. The beds have grown wild and the walls crumbled, so it's really in need of the. Ongoing TLC which it's receiving from the regular garden volunteers. And the odd newt or two!

Rainy and windy Redoubt Restoration at Maker-22nd February 2015. The weather forecast didn't look too good. But we were DETERMINED to defeat the rain and carry on as normal! Off we set in the minibus over on the ferry to Cornwall. Passing the daffy-down-dilly and cabbage fields on the way. First things first: Lemon drizzle cake and a cup of tea while the rain and wind LASHED the minibus. We were fine, we were all cosy inside right? So waterproof cladding began. The Camera got a bit 'moist'. And so did we!

Vegetation Clearance/Beach Clean at Maker/Portwinkle Beach- 14th March 2015. A fun in the sun packed day today as we headed to Fort maker for a morning of bramble bashing before slapping on some sun lotion for a chilled afternoon along the coast at Portwinkle. We all knew the day was gonna be a good one. When Rob pulled out this tape as we boarded the minibus. So to the muffled vocals of Diana Ross-on cassette-we set off for Maker. The journey as always offered many beautiful views. And as everyone knows,.

Hi, I'm Peat Henry

Hi, I'm Peat Henry. Havin' Fun, Taking Names. Saturday, March 19, 2016. The more things change the more they stay the same. I found this video on MTBR and loved it. Some of you may have seen the video or at least vids of similar old klunker dudes shredding, but I just wanted to share with those that are unfamiliar with the history of mountain bikes. Video 1 and 2. Did you notice the wide bars and slack head tube angles, somethings never change. Friday, March 11, 2016. OT 100 2014 some old pics. Here is t...

Pop och skit

We've got a world of pleasure to win, and nothing to lose but boredom. Kalle J - Vingslag. TTA - First Class Riot.

Our little family, On this little internet. Smile, Give It A Try. December 11, 2013. So the advice that I found on reddit was suggesting that if you shop on Amazon they were encouraging you to shop at http:/ SMILE.amazon.com. Instead. It’s the same site, same content but every time you purchase an eligible item using smile instead of the regular www site 0.5% of your purchase goes to a charity of your choice. I’m already buying stuff so why not help out a little in the process. January 23, 2012. I added ...

Torsdag 3 september, 2015. Torsdag 3 september, 2015. Det var ett tag sedan sist. Två år närmare bestämt. Tja, pluggat på unive...
