The good news is that both Chili and Mason won the costume contest at the tournament and Chile got an iPod and Mason a sweet RC Car. the bad news is that nobody got pictures of either of them in their outfits! Thursday, May 7, 2009. I bought the boys some towels and then put their names on them in an attempt to reduce my laundry load. Life with 5 girls and a boy. Monday, September 14, 2009. This is my dearest Grandpa! Smart as a whip, healthy as a horse.and I love him more than I can express. His goal is to live at least to 100 years of age, just like his mom did. If anyone can do it, he can! Did you know this guy had his own BIG BAND for 70 years, playing his saxophone for thousands of dances? He was even featured on 60 Minutes! I wish you the happiest of birthdays, Grandpa! Can't wait to see you in a few weeks.

Life with 5 girls and a boy. Sunday, December 28, 2008. December has been so much fun, aside from the lovely bouts of colds and strep. The house got decked out for the holidays early, since I offered up our house as the last stop to our "Christmas Progressive Open House" activity for the Relief Society. It was a great success (I can't emphasize enough how grateful I am for that, since I was in charge! But that bout of sickness hit me that night. JOY! 160;That's a first! 160;I highly recommend it.

Sunday, September 13, 2009. Gage Goes to School. The night before school started we laid out his clothes, read a couple stories, and tucked him in as usual; He was ready for school. He woke up and got ready without any trouble. Gage was so excited about school that he wanted to ride the bus the very first day! When he got off the bus I was there waiting to hear about his day and he was all smiles and the first words out of his mouth, on the first day of school, were -"I went to the principals office!

Life with 5 girls and a boy. Friday, February 19, 2010. 100 days of school! Deal at Lily's school - they've reached the ever-coveted 100 days. Lily, of course, thought that meant this would be her last day of kindergarten. I only noticed mild disappointment when I told her that she still had many more days of kindergarten left.
