An evolving process; me figuring out my world. Come to find out a few weeks ago, he has to have another surgery. More minor than the last, but apparently there wasn't enough healthy tissue removed. So, next week, he'll go under the knife again.BUT, before he goes, we are finally getting away for our Anniversary trip (that we had to post-pone because of the LAST surgery! Stanley, here we come! An evolving process; me figuring out my world. I know this picture is dark, but I am again in love with my bedroom! And, my family is well aware of my love for IKEA.I should have invested in their stock.do they have stock? In all the places we've lived over the last 6 years, this room is the largest bedroom we've had to ourselves, and we have a King sized mattress! Oh, wait, the student apartment bedroom was large, too, but I didn't have these shears. Was the first :) I guess I figured it was time for.

Monday, March 31, 2014. We made it on the plane. This is a really charming hotel. Wow, we are right downtown. I think I slept on a yoga mat, that bed is hard. GINGER AT THE BEACH! There is nothing wrong with applying sunscreen with a butter knife. It's nice to spend time with that one guy I live with, what's his name again? I'm still recovering from jet lag. :). I thought I was dreaming, but it was real life. I'm still not over the euphoria of my shark dive. Arrrrgh, let's explore the pirate museum.

Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Fieldwork, part 2 and then some. Our second fieldwork day was at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. We took a nice and LONG bus ride, SCHOOL bus ride to DC. It's a good thing the air conditioning worked, meaning all of the windows could open. Ha ha ha.
