Skip to Main Content. The girls with the garden. It is truly becoming Summer here in Little Anse. We don’t get much of a Spring but we do seem to have awfully nice Summer and Autumn weather. This means that it has become warm and dry enough to begin applying a nice protective layer of mulch to our plantings. We use hay for this task – straw would be preferable but even hay is pretty scarce around here. And now for some gratuitous shot of the prettiness of the purples of early July. So so very pretty....
