Saturday, August 23, 2014. Lexi's turning 12. Her birthday falls on Labor Day this year and so she wanted her party a little early! She planned it all by herself and she knew exactly what she wanted. A fire pit for roasting s'mores, an outdoor movie, lots of food and a couple games. Her plans were great but the weather did not cooperate. We had checked the weather all week and thought we would be fine but a storm blew in a lot faster than the weathermen predicted. Posted by Shari G. I love these two!

Saturday, February 5, 2011. Who knew a cold front would come in and it would be minus 4 degrees! Luckily it warmed up to a whopping 19 degrees before we left! We weren't going to let that stop us. Wednesday, December 10, 2014. I love to see the Temple. What a wonderful week. Eric and I also had the privilege of going with Alexis to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple the Saturday after she turned 12. She researched her own family names and was able to take those names with her. It was such a beautiful experience being there with her and Eric. We are so proud of the young lady that she is! Saturday, August 15, 2015. This week I had a bus trip out with MDLC (I am a volunteer with them) to Heide. An art gallery on the bend of the Yarra. Very pretty setting in large park like gardens. It backs on to a large park that goes down to the river. We had a guide take us through the exhibits - modern art - I can take it or leave it. The paintings here I shall leave. The purpose built part of the art gallery. Judy and I looking at the side of the art gallery. The arch trees in Heidelberg Park.

Friday, November 27, 2009. After much consideration ( and a not-so-subtle poll of my friends. I decided that Mikayla's earings were not quite even. SUCH. A bummer. So, today I took her back to the mall to have one ear re-done- But we couldn't go alone! Paige and Emily both came with us to help distract her (and eat ice cream, of course). Wednesday, October 21, 2009. They HATED the cake! It was very funny. Olivia hated the feel and the taste but had to keep touching it and trying to throw it or wipe it off as quick as she could. Emily just thought it was funny that she could play and make a mess. They both licked it a little but didn't. Go back for another taste! What an AMAZING year! Jared, Leandra, Taysen, Braylee and Branston! Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Reunited with my CA BFF! When I lived in California when I was a teenager I had my besties Tisha and Heather. They are twins.We did everything together! We hadn't seen eachother in something like 14 or 15 years! She and her family took a trip here to UT and I was sooo glad to see her! Nothing has changed we're still dorks together :-) This was clear back in .March I think? Shows you how behind I am on blogging! I Am Back, again.
