He was Zachary's best friend, our neighbor for most of his life, and he fought a long and courageous battle with a nasty cancer for nearly six years. I wish I could be in California right now to hug his parents and sister! He is one of the reasons why I chose to be a pediatric nurse, and why I choose to volunteer with the Layla Grace Foundation.
