Knitting Revolution and Blabbering about Myself. Thursday, August 31, 2006. Our daily climate change. Ive been noticing lately how many conversations about global warming and Al Gore's new movie seem to end with, "I hope they start to pay attention and DO something.". But who is this "they"? So - how to encourage people to look at what each of us, instead of the big "they", can do? There are sooooo many ways we can each reduce our consumption, pollution, and resource use. I think i *still* get junk mail ...

Knitting Revolution and Blabbering about Myself. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. So i've decided to try out using my blog to keep track of ideas i have re: cooperative/ecovillage/sustainable, etc stuff. I'm reading "Radical Simplicity" as B-line bus commute book, and it's got my brain a-buzzing thinking about ways to reduce our ecological footprints. bare in mind that this is brainstorming. So today's idea: fitness club / "village flour mill". Waaayyyy less electricity/fuel involved in processing. lower cos...

Posted by heidi at 12:03 AM. Tuesday, June 27, 2006. Well, i've been resisting the urge to have a digital camera, especially since gwen has one. but now she says hers is getting twitchy, so i wouldn't be horribly. Knitting Revolution and Blabbering about Myself. Thursday, July 20, 2006. Look, it's the blender i've been dreaming about! Good greif - I had better be careful with that scarf, or a deadly blender accident might ensue. Wouldn't it be cool if kitchens were designed with a little bike-nook and you could hook up all of the appliances to the bike? I like how this is made from pink bike parts and has a red counter-top. Posted by heidi at 11:19 PM. Aparently, i'm supposed to zip around in a bubble.
