私たち、ぴあサポートは、見えにくい見えない人たち 視覚に障害のある人及び高齢者 に対して、医療講演会 研修会 交流会を通じて、医療 福祉の情報提供、生活の質の向上、社会参加の支援活動を行い、福祉の増進に寄与することを目的としております。 平成14年、視覚に障害のある難病団体 網膜色素変性症の患者と家族の会石川県支部 通称 色変ひまわりの会 の活動をする中で、網膜色素変性症という目の病気以外の方からの相談が多くなり、眼疾患の相談窓口として、見えにくい見えない人の生活相談、就労相談、失明に対する 心のケア などの支援活動として、ボランティア団体 ぴあサポート を設立する。
