Sunday, February 24, 2013. Lemon Cream pie filling? Ok I know. I don't usually post about cooking and recipes and all that. But, I’ve been having fun with a recipe I found a while ago on Pinterest. The original recipe called for a box of Angel Food cake mix and a 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple. It’s got to be one of the easiest recipes ever. Just mix the two together and it does something startling. It foams up! Here's a "before and after" shot that I put on Facebook the. Day I baked the pineapple cake.

Just reading the newspaper or watching the latest news on your favorite channel on TV can sometimes give you a reason to use a few bad words. Right? Now, I'm not a drinker, but I'm sure there are a few folks out there that would think this "tragedy" is worthy of a few "bad words". Do you think the home owner had a few "bad words" to say? Or did it just sit there and sink when the water level came up?

Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Things have certainly changed since my last post, dear readers, as I went back to being vegetarian at the beginning of 2015. So no more bacon fat salads for me! Unfortunately, for some of you I'm sure, that also means none for you either. 1/2 cup cooked freekeh. 1/2 cup cooked pearl barley. 2 tbsp basil pesto. 1/2 head broccoli, cut into small florets. 2 spring onions, sliced. 50g sugar snap peas, sliced. 30g feta cheese, crumbled. Sea salt and cracked pepper. Serves 4 - 6.
