Original Acrylic and Watercolor Paintings and Prints. Fantasy & Real. I believe that this folkloric style is the best choice for me to convey a playful, light-hearted approach to life. The animals, birds, and scenery are those that I have enjoyed in the southwestern U.S. and Sonora, Mexico and are the most meaningful to me. I hope these paintings can bring a smile to the viewer.

Original Acrylic and Watercolor Paintings and Prints. Fantasy & Real. Peg Franken, a Tucson artist, was first introduced to painting as a child while taking art classes in Chicago. Since childhood, she had worked as a fiber artist until 2000 when she resumed painting first in watercolor, and more recently in acrylic. In addition to art classes in Tucson from local and visiting artists, she has studied privately with nationally acclaimed artists in Taos, Santa Fe, and Los Angeles.
