Saturday, November 12, 2011. We got Julien a great play house for his birthday and the movie Cars 2. We set up the play house in the playroom downstairs so he can play in it during the Winter months. He really loves it. It has a little kitchen inside and a telephone that makes little beep noises and even has a door bell. I will have to post some pictures of it later. It was great to see them all again. All of my grandparents have passed away so it is great Thierry has 3 still alive. His other grandfather passed away 7 months ago so at the time we moved to the Netherlands all 4 of Thierry's grandparents were still alive. I guess that means Thierry has a long life ahead of him. Monday, January 5, 2015. Castellet Castle and Sitges, Spain - January 1, 2015. We decided to follow some great advice from a friend and go to Sitges, Spain. On the way we drove past Castellet Castle (Castellet i la Gornal). It was so beautiful we had to stop and take some pictures. Xavier also got very sick during the drive so we had to stop several times for him to get out. Poor little guy. Monday, January 5, 2015. Christmas Eve 2014 - December 24, 2014 in France. Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve in France. We were able to spend the holiday with Thierry's family including his parents, younger sister Aline with her family Pierre and daughters Nolwen and Melissa, as well as his older sister Isabelle. We had an incredible meal including fresh raw oysters, a roasted turkey, scallops, chestnut stuffing, vegtables, and amazing cheese and wine. Very yummy. Pierre helping out in the kitchen.

Monday, January 5, 2015. New Years Eve - December 31, 2014 - in Cambrils, Spain. Our hotel was located in Cambrils, Spain right next to the beach. We just had a relaxing day at the beach and hung out in our hotel room watching movies and Spanish TV in the evening. We could even see fireworks from our balcony. Nice to have a relaxing holiday. Sunday, April 20, 2014. Carnival, February 28, 2014 in Dreumel, Netherlands. Here are some pictures from Carnival. Aurelie got to have several parties in school and dressed up like a clown. I took some pictures with her clown make-up still on but she had to add her princess crown because she always wants to be a princess. She is our little princess, that is for sure. The Netherlands was very proud of the 24 medals they got at the Sochi Winter Olympics. Jennifer, Thierry, Xavier, Julien, and Aurélie.

Monday, January 5, 2015. Here are some pictures from the Aquarium in Barcelona, Spain. We all had a great time checking out the amazing sea life at the beautiful aquarium. They have a lot of beautiful sharks and several tunnels you can go into to see the sea life at their level. One of the several beautiful tunnels you can go through. So beautiful. The kids had a lot of fun in the play areas. Some of the amazing yachts at port in Barcelona. Many of these are tour boats to cruise out and see the area.
