Kim's Beautiful Adventure: July 2010
http://kimsbeautifuladventure.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
A chronicle of the events and experiences leading up to the birth of my son. Friday, July 23, 2010. I'm laying in bed right now only half-awake trying to summon the motivation to shower and start the day, so I figured the most productive way to procrastinate would be to update the blog. Lucky you! AND the baby will be here. Yahoo! I've been paying really close attention to what I do during the day so I can try to identify anything that might be helping me sleep at night, but nothing sticks out! It's been...

Kim's Beautiful Adventure: March 2010
http://kimsbeautifuladventure.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
A chronicle of the events and experiences leading up to the birth of my son. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Pregnancy has been bliss lately. I have a good deal of my energy back, and so long as I don't try to stay up for more than 10 hours I can go all day without a nap! Granted, I'm really grumpy by hour 7 or 8, but if I. To, I can skip nap time. I feel so free! I was so relieved that it wasn't anything serious that I don't really even mind. I've done the morning sickness thing, I can handle it. And...I rea...

http://kimsbeautifuladventure.blogspot.com/2010/08/34-weekstick-tocktick-tock.html
A chronicle of the events and experiences leading up to the birth of my son. Monday, August 9, 2010. 34 weeks.tick-tock.tick-tock. Well, I woke up this morning and it was still August so I'm pissed. Jim left for Sioux Lookout again on Saturday, and so began the longest four weeks of my life. I've been trying to make lemonade out of the situation and all I'm coming up with is that when this four weeks is over, we're together at last with no more goodbyes, and we will be 2 weeks away from having a baby!

Kim's Beautiful Adventure: June 2010
http://kimsbeautifuladventure.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
A chronicle of the events and experiences leading up to the birth of my son. Friday, June 25, 2010. Wednesday was the 28 week mark! I can't believe I only have 12 more weeks left. Most of my annoying pregnancy symptoms have gone away, which I attribute to a ridiculously healthy diet and stress-free existence. Not having Jim around would have to be the only down-side to the current situation. This long-distance crap is really getting old. Just seven more days until he arrives though so I know I sh...And i...

Kim's Beautiful Adventure: False Labour
http://kimsbeautifuladventure.blogspot.com/2010/08/false-labour.html
A chronicle of the events and experiences leading up to the birth of my son. Saturday, August 28, 2010. Yesterday at around five o'clock I started having Braxton Hicks contractions - which I'm used to at this point - on a semi-regular basis. As the minutes ticked by, they became more frequent and more intense. By 7:30, I was starting to think that maybe this was it! So, being my mother's child, I started cleaning. The thought going through my head wasn't "I'm going to have a baby! But "This place must.

A chronicle of the events and experiences leading up to the birth of my son. Saturday, July 10, 2010. 30 weeks.and it's freaking hot here! First things first.sorry for being such a lazy blogger, but Jim was here for 10 days and frankly I just didn't make time. But now I have three long, depressing, Jim-free weeks full of blogging time. Wednesday marked week 30, and it was a very. Exciting day for me! It's a pregnant woman's dream! Maybe by the time I give birth I will be back to my normal size. The baby'...

Kim's Beautiful Adventure: October 2010
http://kimsbeautifuladventure.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
A chronicle of the events and experiences leading up to the birth of my son. Sunday, October 3, 2010. I would like to begin this post by warning any soon-to-be mothers to proceed with caution because this may scare the crap out of you! That having been said, here goes. Last Thursday I was one week overdue and went into the hospital to have the obstetrician have a looksie at things and decide when to induce. He said to come in the next morning at 8am to be induced (gulp! But because she's so sweet, I keep...
