Beside the Trail B&B. Posted in road trip. We are on a Christmas deadline, so we are going straight across the Texas panhandle on our way to our daughter’s in North Carolina. Here is not much to see of Texas along the I40, but we sure did see a lot of wind turbines. Hundreds and Hundreds of them and even some new power line towers making their way up into the fields to collect the energy. Someone suggested we visit the RV museum in Amarillo. We surely enjoyed it and the price was right – FREE.
