Hinter dieser Webseite steht der Verkehrsverein Peist (VVP). Der VVP setzt sich aus engagierten Einheimischen, Zugezogenen und Stammgästen zusammen. Wir entwickeln touristische und kulturelle Angebote in Peist und sind gut vernetzt mit den Dorfvereinen, den anderen Verkehrsvereinen im Tal, mit Arosa Tourismus, Arosa Kultur und der Gemeinde Arosa. In Peist und Umgebung gibt es eine grosse Auswahl an markierten Wander- und Bikewegen. Z.B. Peist - Fatschél, Schanfigger Höhenweg, Hochwang - Gipfelkette, Peist - Peister Alp - Blackter Fürggli - Strassberg - Langwies. Mehrmals täglich verkehren Postautokurse nach Chur. Die Postautostelle liegt an der Hauptstrasse beim Schulhaus. Der Bahnhof Peist ist vom Dorf aus in 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar mit stündlichen Zugsverbindungen nach Chur und Arosa. 800-11.30 15.30-18.30. Mittwochs ab 13.30h.
