Friday, October 19, 2007. I think this book came from my Secret Pal.if so, THANK YOU very much as I really like it! I've already put 2 things on the list and I am looking for yarn for a third. WOW! But this definitely came from my Secret pal! You can tell how much parts were enjoyed by noticing the empty candy package on top. Yes I ate them all and I am proud of it! Thank you Susan and Sue from my LYS, THE KNITTING CORNER for organizing this. It's been great week and my hands ache but my heart is full!

Saturday, June 14, 2008. This is my first knit-in. I truly am excited because like bicycling, knitting needs a bigger audience to introduce people to the pleasures to be found. I have often been accused of being very naive but I do believe if more people would just "try it" we would have happier, healthier people. However, I am wondering about my mental facilities today. Wednesday, January 7, 2009. The Three Kings came and left their presents, a coffee press for daughter, wine stoppers for husband and a lovely heart with cross for me. Now I need a gold chain for it. I hope I don't have to wait for my March birthday! John and I were married on December 29. 1962 and for Christmas 1963 we were on the road. The little cable car is a fond memory of cioppino, jumping on and off cable cars, the zig-zag street, Horchows and the great market place. . What are your favorites?

Today is pack out day, and tomorrow morning we leave for parts northward. Believe it or not I am old enough to have my 25yr HS class reunion, and that too is on Sat.
