So, christian is deployed. for two months. it sucks. but that wasn't really the point of this post. since the boy is out of town, i told the girls that i'd be more social. this past saturday was my first night out in greensboro. it was fun.interesting, but tons of fun :). I'm almost done with 'the kite runner'.my 4th book for #2 on the list. I'm planning to take a little vacation back to michigan before school starts.and hopefully christian will be joining me.and we're thinking of going camping somewhere in the u.p. my #7. And maybe we'll go canoeing too.my #9. Ok, i think that's all for an update on "things.". Weekends on the boat.

That's what my mom said to me when i was worried about getting interviews for the genetic counseling programs. she's so weird ;) i think she got it from her sister, my pretty aunt gail (which isn't implying that i have an ugly aunt gail.just emphasizing the fact that i have pretty aunts.really just an all around beautiful family.i'm not being conceited, it's just the truth.haha! Life isn't about finding yourself. life is about creating yourself. 1 - I'm in the process of finishing up applications.UNC-Greensboro should be sent out by Friday.hopefully.then the rest of the applications will be out in early January. Interviews are in March/April.I'm hoping for at least 3. I'll find out the first Friday in May whether I'm accepted. I'll keep you updated. 3 - 1 down, 1 to go.and I was able to run it under 4:45:00.yay! Kiawah Island Marathon - 12.08.07. I'd love to have a house there!
