Colour.Decor.DIY.Garden.Knick knacks. May 23, 2015. May 23, 2015. Lets explore how to arrive at a good colour palette for a space. It’s not just sensible but fun to look around the world for some good dose of inspiration. Selecting a colour scheme for a room is challenging because its easy to go wrong if you don’t get the basics right. You need 1 dominant colour that will be most visible in the room…say 50%. This could be a wall or even your drapes if it covers one full wall of your room. I am a designer...

The Nevels Nest: Super Smoothie
http://somefun-stephanie.blogspot.com/2014/02/super-smoothie.html
Thursday, February 27, 2014. For quite some time I have been very hesitant to jump on the smoothie bandwagon, for several reasons. The most important one being that I just couldn't wrap my food-loving brain around the fact that a bunch of fruit and yogurt would fill me up first thing in the morning. I'm really more of a cereal/PB on an English muffin/CARBS kinda breakfast gal, and getting my blender out every morning just did not sound appealing. 1/2 C frozen peaches. 1/2 C frozen mangos. Appr 1 C. o...

The Nevels Nest: Journey to My Happy Weight
http://somefun-stephanie.blogspot.com/2014/04/journey-to-my-happy-weight.html
Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Journey to My Happy Weight. This past New Year's, Kyle and I decided to set some resolutions that we might actually stick to (doesn't everyone? I see the list everyday hanging in my closet, and I vowed to myself that these weren't some fleeting, silly ambitions but rather lifestyle changes that I knew in my heart of hearts needed to be made for me to feel and do my best. The crappy thing about changing though is that it's freaking hard. EIGHT POUNDS, YOU GUYS! So to celebrate th...

The Nevels Nest: October 2013
http://somefun-stephanie.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 20, 2013. It's been awhile since I've posted some recipes, and also unfortunately been awhile since I've been intentional about cooking somewhat healthy meals for my family, so I thought I'd share two tried and true ones I plan on making this week for dinner. Brown Sugar and Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloin. Seriously one of my fave recipes ever, and one of those rare dishes I make that all 3 kids actually really like). 1 (2 pound) boneless pork tenderloin (or regular pork loin). We also c...

The Art of Darling: {One-Year Photo Inspiration}
http://theartofdarling.blogspot.com/2012/06/one-year-photo-inspiration.html
The Art of Darling. All things kids and cutesy}. My Little A took her one-year pics last week. They turned out amazing (will share link of pics from photographer soon). We had so many ideas about what we wanted to do for the pictures, and lots of inspiration. I just love all of these ideas for capturing your baby at such momentous time in his/her life! Furniture in a natural setting. Nothing like that first b-day cake. Nothing cuter than a baby in a mirror. Posted by Art of Darling. Welcome to my blog!

The Art of Darling: {Baby Lit}
http://theartofdarling.blogspot.com/2012/06/baby-lit.html
The Art of Darling. All things kids and cutesy}. I am a lover of literature. As an avid reader since before I could read (if that's possible), as well as a former reading and English teacher, I believe one of the greatest joys in life that I can impart to my children is the love for books, their stories, and their characters. And just take a look inside:. Jane Austen said it best,. Posted by Art of Darling. June 28, 2012 at 10:43 AM. June 28, 2012 at 11:55 AM. Oh my gosh I LOVE these! Welcome to my blog!
