http://wildcreationsthejourney.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-allergy-and-free-from-show.html
Sunday, 5 July 2015. The Allergy and Free From Show. Following on from the last post about gluten free cooking, yesterday we went to The Allergy and Free From Show. To find ourselves some gluten free goodies. This was at Olympia in London so very easy to get to and jam packed full of stalls with products to help anyone with any allergy. At the same time there was also the Just V Show and the Love Natural, Love Organic show so lots of interesting things to look at. Posted by Wild Creations. Hello My name ...

Wild Creations: July 2015

Sunday, 26 July 2015. There are strawberries in here somewhere. Last weekend we went PYO or Pick You Own and got ourselves some lovely strawberry, raspberries and redcurrants. I'd never been PYO before as we had plenty of fruit in the garden as I was growing up, blackcurrant, redcurrant and. Bushes, apples and plums. No real need for any more then. I know a huge number of ways to get rid of piles of apples and plums; jam, crumble, pies etc. Posted by Wild Creations. Tuesday, 21 July 2015. I've been pract...

Wednesday, 15 July 2015. After last weeks beginner crochet class. I've been practicing. We were given the patterns for a couple of tiny shapes and of course my favourite is the star. If I'm not careful I will have many stars and no idea what to do with them all. Today I went back to Stitched By You. Posted by Wild Creations. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wild Creations: May 2015
http://wildcreationsthejourney.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, 31 May 2015. When my friend announced she was pregnant late last year, I knew I wanted to knit her something for the baby. But being a crochet wiz she's already made many blankets and I wanted to make something a little different. So when I found the lovely knitting patterns at HuggableBears. On Etsy, I knew it would be one of these guys. Once I found the snowflake wool I knew this bunny would be perfect. Posted by Wild Creations. Sunday, 24 May 2015. On my medal hanger. I spent the day in Guildf...

Wild Creations: Beginners crochet
http://wildcreationsthejourney.blogspot.com/2015/07/beginners-crochet.html
Wednesday, 8 July 2015. Today I had a day off work - holiday to use up, so visited Stitched By You. For a beginners class in crochet. I have friends who knit and friends who crochet, but none who do both. So as a very happy knitter would I be a happy crocheter? This time we made another worm of chain stitch, then turned the worm and added single crochet stitches (I'm using american terms here as that was what we were taught). It was a fun couple of hours and I look forward to doing more. Hello My name is...

Wild Creations: Fish
http://wildcreationsthejourney.blogspot.com/2015/08/fish.html
Saturday, 1 August 2015. For the last 10 years or so I've had a tropical fish tank. It was a little 60l tank, which over the years had seen many different occupants, including shrimp, a reed fish, neons, snails, a ruby shark, siamese fighters, loach and a large plec called Trevor. Sadly Trevor passed away while we were away at Christmas. Posted by Wild Creations. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Friday, 28 August 2015. Leaving - part 2. Saying good bye is aways hard. Especially when its people you like and respect. I decided that I wanted to show my close colleagues how much I will miss them, and having come across this lovely little crochet flower patter in the Molly Makes Crochet magazine. Thought this would do the job nicely. Posted by Wild Creations. Leaving - part 1. Which blew my mind! So after a lot of thought and soul searching I leave the University to join a 10 week full time UX Design...

Wild Creations: April 2015
http://wildcreationsthejourney.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, 26 April 2015. Glow in the dark. While most people are thinking about the London Marathon this weekend my thoughts were on the much shorter 5k Glow in the Dark run on Saturday night. It was a nice little run. We were set off in waves so there was no hanging around as there was a new wave every 5 mins or so. No queue for the loos and a special tent with UV lights so you could take photos all glowing. The perfect sort of run for a beginner. And the medal glows in the dark! What more could you want!

Wild Creations: Gluten free cooking at River Cottage
http://wildcreationsthejourney.blogspot.com/2015/06/gluten-free-cooking-at-river-cottage.html
Sunday, 21 June 2015. Gluten free cooking at River Cottage. If you've been reading this blog for a while you'll know that a couple of years ago, 'im outdoors was diagnosed as a coeliac. Its been an interesting challenge, but as we make a lot of our meals from scratch anyway it's just meant learning some new ways of doing things. I've managed to get most things to work, but the one thing I've been really struggling with is savoury pastry. We decided to make a long weekend of it and found a lovely B B.

Wild Creations: January 2015
http://wildcreationsthejourney.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, 31 January 2015. Im outdoors bought this wonderful little bench home last weekend. Just something he knocked up out of some off cuts from a job. Its perfect. I've already had a little sit, but I'm really looking forward to using it in the summer. So would you say that was creative? I would. But he disagrees. And I've found this a lot with various people - if it isn't one of the classic 'arts' - you know painting or drawing etc, then you're not creative. I despair! Posted by Wild Creations.
