Just in time for hubby's birthday party. I've just been really slack with updating this blog. This is the empty space we started with. Some of the carcass and panels prior to installation. I finally purchased our first picture for the house. I didn't know exactly what I wanted but I knew it had to have hints of green and orange. When I stumbled across this zebra canvas artwork I couldn't resist it. Now I have to finally get some pieces for the hallway niches. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Kresta Blinds and Curtains.

Building our Royal Manor. Building our custom designed home on our sloping block. It's all downhill from here. Thursday, June 12, 2014. Woke up and everyone was dead! Two weeks ago I woke up to find that everyone except us were dead. By 'everyone except us' I meant the tradies, and by 'dead' I meant noticeably absent from the house. We are more than THREE MONTHS past contract. That is three months over on a 12 month build contract. It has been more than 15 months since we commenced building. The driveway...

http://buildingroyalmanor.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Building our Royal Manor. Building our custom designed home on our sloping block. It's all downhill from here. Saturday, March 29, 2014. The last few months we have lived by the saying "if you don't laugh, you'll cry". That has definitely been the case for us for quite some time. We have tried to remain positive but find it increasingly difficult given that we have encountered just about every error that is possible when building a home. I think I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Our front entranc...

http://buildingroyalmanor.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Building our Royal Manor. Building our custom designed home on our sloping block. It's all downhill from here. Saturday, February 15, 2014. Let there be plaster! And on the 346th day the builder said "let there be plaster". I'm so excited that plastering has finally begun. We have waited so long to get to this point. I have never seen so much plaster delivered in my life. They had to use a crane to get it down the block. Here are some pictures of the plastering that has been done so far. We bought a spa!
