Piecing thoughts together about life, creativity and sew on. 2014 The Year of the Newspaper. I am enthralled with this method of working and processing current events; I am totally addicted to the process. I continue to think about ways I might exhibit the work experimenting with large format printing on fleece or my latest idea a series of 12 quilts one for each month. To kick the year off:. Piecing thoughts together about life, creativity and sew on. My last class is today. I feel like we are just getting started. I had no idea how much there is to learn about an apple. This is chalk once I got the idea of how to use the medium it became a bit easier. Drawing really is about observation here I wanted to inject story telling I'm not sure how successful I was. Piecing thoughts together about life, creativity and sew on. Once again at work on Mighty Grip. It was an unresolved piece. I have had some time to set it aside and new ideas popped up. I've been playing around with designs both in my sketchbook and on the board. Piecing thoughts together about life, creativity and sew on. I am working on a piece composed of recycled rubber pads the type you open jars with. I recently scored Mighty Mouse (one of my personal favs) fabric on ebay. Walked by my stash and saw McDonalds fabric and an idea was born. I have been thinking about creating a piece about fast food. This is the lay out on the design wall. This is it's first incarnation. And I have another idea brewing for presentation which would sort of kick it up a notch.
