Have a bit more to learn about using Copernicus, but it's been a good start. Wish I had known about all these wonderful things last year while looking for online articles for my teaching degree assignments. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Web Pages That Suck. A learning log of the trials and tribulations experienced while studying my first fully online internet studies course through Curtin University of Technology, Net11. Sunday, December 17, 2006. Musing on module 2 (email part). Saw some cross-overs with our unit discussion board, such as the time delay aspect. Sometimes I read that people think they are replying directly to someone's post, but by the time they have posted it, several other posts have appeared and the original is an historic piece. A learning log of the trials and tribulations experienced while studying my first fully online internet studies course through Curtin University of Technology, Net11. Saturday, February 10, 2007. Am so behind in the modules, but at least I can move on now. Really regret not getting underway quickly way back in December. Was encouraged (and surprised) by a very good mark for my first assignment. Just need the final push now for the concepts essay and the ongoing module work. Web Pages That Suck.

NET 11: Advanced Skills in Internet Use. A 'Learning Log' of my tasks and experiences of the unit. Friday, December 29, 2006. I'm overjoyed to announce (assuming this works), that:. I'm now officially a "blogger"! After much wondering, pondering, deliberating, lib-biting, and nail-chewing. (you get the picture), I've finally bitten the bullet and taken the plunge into this bold new world of blogging. I hope you join me on this journey of learning. Posted by Andrew T. NET 11: Advanced Skills in Internet Use. A 'Learning Log' of my tasks and experiences of the unit. Friday, December 29, 2006. The email tutorial was a good refresher, although I didn’t learn anything new. 1 What information about a user’s email, the origin of a message, and the path it took, can you glean from an email message? 2 In what cases would you find it useful to use the ‘cc’ ‘bcc’ and reply all functions of email? If you are cc’d (carbon copied) an email, you can distinguish that the email...

NET 11: Advanced Skills in Internet Use. A 'Learning Log' of my tasks and experiences of the unit. Friday, December 29, 2006. Record any difficulties enountered:. I encountered no real difficulties with this exercise, until having to post it to the presentations site on webct. For some reason the images didn’t work. NET 11: Advanced Skills in Internet Use. A 'Learning Log' of my tasks and experiences of the unit. Friday, December 29, 2006. I've changed my background (presentation) settings. Much better laid out, and easy to read now i think! I know the readings, and links, from Module 3 state the most common backgrounds are white, black or grey, however I'm not a fan of working on white backgrounds - it's a bit too bright on the eyes. So on this one, perhaps I'm bucking the trend, but I like it. Posted by Andrew T.

NET 11: Advanced Skills in Internet Use. A 'Learning Log' of my tasks and experiences of the unit. Friday, December 29, 2006. Weblog as my "Learning Log". One of the reasons I was interested in NET11 is that it would expose me to elements of the web that I'd not looked into before, one of these being blogs - heard about them, but never used one, and didn't even know what they were. The not so valid "excuse" is that I've been a bit afraid of the unknown too (I suspect). This surprises me! SP 4, 2006/7.
