The cry came up behind me from the crowd at Fort Madison. When was the last time Castine harbor heard that cry? Maybe in the mid 1600's when Baron Castin was still in residence. Two outhouses, No Overnight Parking. Trip 2: Out via Birch and the Gooses, in via Bustins, Williams etc 9.3 miles, launch 8, finish 11:45, 30 minute break. High about 1PM. Another good pantry under our belts. And it didn't even snow! We had a nice crowd in the morning to help set up and bag: Rodney, Tracy, Dee, Gray, Sally, Rudy and Gordy packed up four tables of dry food and several of treats and canned food. Daisy and Lissa put on their very best vacuum cleaner impersonations, so there wasn't much cleanup afterwards. We were set up and gone by 10. We're now distributing from the American Legion Hall at the corner of Pearl and John Sts in Camden!
