8211; breath, bandha, drishti – the rest is show-off. I wish i was the moon. On my way home tonight i met a little hedgehog who'd strayed from his neighborhood, probably the park a block away from where we met. i was still so amazed - never have i seen a hedgehog on a city street! Poor thing, i hope it found it's way back home again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Looking for Nirodaha: Who would've thought?
http://lookingfornirodaha.blogspot.com/2008/10/who-wouldve-thought.html
8211; breath, bandha, drishti – the rest is show-off. I just lived through a wonderful weekend, so delightful in many ways and I also got a lot of stuff done that I've been putting off for far too long. I guess therapy is kicking in? Seriously, even if I still have a long way to go, it's really nice to see some progress, be able to feel a difference from just a couple of months ago. How wonderful it is to have a good laugh in the company of friends! This makes me so happy! October 20, 2008 at 7:00 PM.

Looking for Nirodaha: are you human?
http://lookingfornirodaha.blogspot.com/2009/05/are-you-human.html
8211; breath, bandha, drishti – the rest is show-off. This has sort of been my theme song today. i love the rhythms and the mystical tone of it, especially the last minute or so. it's been my friend in the ipod all day long. And now you're out - like a rainbow trout! Spring in NYC is lovely. funny that we are both writing again, although I just wrote a little. Perhaps later I shall write more. I know about the crazy schedule - it's hectic, isn't it? May 5, 2009 at 12:15 AM. This is what you get.

http://lookingfornirodaha.blogspot.com/2009/05/yawn-april-30.html
8211; breath, bandha, drishti – the rest is show-off. Jeez, i'm so exhausted i can't even write! My brain is shutting down. i'm in my seat and people are running back and forth around me - going to the bathroom, getting food in the canteen, finding their seats or whatever. i just had Karunesh's heart chakra meditation on the ipod and it's soooo soothing! I think i'm going to fall asleep as soon as i shut down the laptop. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This is what you get. View my complete profile.

Looking for Nirodaha: Who put chewing gum in my brain?
http://lookingfornirodaha.blogspot.com/2008/09/who-put-chewing-gum-in-my-brain.html
8211; breath, bandha, drishti – the rest is show-off. Who put chewing gum in my brain? I'm so fcuking tired I can hardly keep my eyes open, and thinking a thought through is nearly impossible. I almost didn't get up to go to practice this morning because my head didn't want to leave the pillow and later I fell asleep on the bus to work. Besides that I just need to brag a little, although, most of you will probably think I'm even more insane than you ever could imagine ;-). I assume this is farenheit?

Writables: That and Ten Dollars Will Get You a Cup of Coffee
http://writables.blogspot.com/2008/01/that-and-ten-dollars-will-get-you-cup.html
Not parables, writables. Monday, January 28, 2008. That and Ten Dollars Will Get You a Cup of Coffee. Well, the drug deals are done. In the end, I managed to get my prescription filled and it cost me half of what I had been paying. And they gave me 16 refills on it. I guess preserverance paid off this time. I never pictured you as negotiating drug deals. January 29, 2008 at 6:56 AM. At the cost they were proposing, I should have rolled up that ten and snorted the stuff. January 29, 2008 at 3:58 PM.

Writables: August 2007
http://writables.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Not parables, writables. Saturday, August 18, 2007. May I Have This Dance? So as we discussed these possibilities, we agreed that all dancing, whether practical or not, serves to encourage grace, develop strength and promote balance. All good qualities. But I thought, except for professional dancers, most of the dances are not usually performed in ordinary settings. Oh sure, the occasional waltz or polka turns up in most ordinary wedding receptions, but what about ballet? 8220;Oh, you mad, clogging fool!
