Saturday, September 10, 2011. Of greed and fear. Well, the greed part was more of an attention grabbing gimmick :D. What I really want to write about today is fear. In all the "about me", know me better posts there is one integral aspect of my life which hasn't come forth. And that is my deep , irrational cynophobia (or more commonly known as the fear of dogs). But leaving aside me and my job woes (and the fact that the HR columns have warned me strictly against writing anything about my job in public forums ), I could try writing about what else I have managed to do between a 9 -12 pm work schedule (weekends included) for the past few weeks. Thursday, December 25, 2008. Wonder how sometimes life cheers up at the the tiniest and most unexpected and remotest things! How spirits get lifted up just by listening to a certain song , by chance. Happened today , while on the way back home from the lunch get-together . all I needed was to listen to the 'mera maula' song from Dostana :). Tuesday, March 17, 2009. When Ankit and co occupied the 1st floor flat and Shilpa moved in next door and it was like college days again! All those weekend cooking experiments , Basa amma handling , war with the cockroaches , woken up in the middle of the night with some weird processions that left us all fuming and raging , mid night b'day celebrations, barrista outings , default jumping-over-the-gate . the memories are too many to narrate here. Sunday, September 21, 2008. Whats in a name. Thats what people say , but then a name does matter! Lipi Tripathy , now how difficult is that to spell /pronounce? I would say quite simple , short and simple in fact. Apparently Airtel folks have a problem with this , how else does my name transform into Mr. Lee Tirupathi one fine day! The dude on phone drastically changed my gender , nationality . I have seen quite a few modifications of my name , lips,lipsy,lipsiku but Lee Tirupathi beats them all!

Isnt going to be the same place without some of these folks , we will all miss Jayadev especially at the All-Hands gatherings and year-end parties , his so successful attempts at irritating us with his hindi , the non stop chatter and masti and all the fun. And also Shweta is leaving tomorrow for Singapore , weather is dull with rains on and off and with the recent happenings at Bangalore it is mostly sit-at-home. Hmmm , learning to live with all of this :). The attempt to move on.
