Friday, February 27, 2009. One thing I've learned so well in the last few years is that ministry does not allow the minister to set aside his work when it's not convenient or even feasible for him. I think this is an amazing lesson and it's something I ponder very much lately. Paul, writing to Timothy said "Preach the gospel, be instant in season and out of season." (2 Tim. 4:2) I also like the way The Message Bible says it. Don't ever quit. Just keep it simple.". He's telling him to be ready to minister.

Saturday, December 13, 2008. When I look around and see. . . Tomorrow night at church, I've been given the opportunity to testify about the last year, the doors that have opened for me, and the weight loss. I've lost 217 pounds since January 8, 2008. I'm not going to give away my testimony here. Thursday, December 18, 2014. Characters of the Hood: Vol. 1, Rashid. A few doors down the hall, I have a neighbor who goes by Rashid. Though he's short, fat, bald, and white, Rashid dresses like a black Muslim basketball player.
