Life as We know It. Friday, August 14, 2015. On our last day in England Jeff and I ran around doing last minute things, mostly chocolate and duvet shopping! In the evening we went out with Mum to see an open air Shakespeare play at Beaulieu Abbey. We had seen it last summer at the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City. this was a very different order of production, but it was still nice to get out! So, here are some thoughts about our trip! Life as We know It. Friday, July 31, 2015. Castles Part 2- Hogwarts! We were all pretty excited about the Harry Potter studio tour, and it was great. I think if you asked the kids, this would be their favourite thing that they did in England. I think it's pretty high on the list for Jeff and I too. It was so cool! The geeking out started before we'd even got in to the tour, at the wizard chess statues in the car park. The sets were so detailed. Who knew the Leaky Cauldron actually has a crack in it?

Life as We know It. Monday, September 29, 2014. The music is harder and so he recognises that he needs to practice. On Friday night, he pulled his violin out to do some practice. Ellie hasn't had a violin lesson yet but she pulled hers out too and started scraping away. Life as We know It. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Adam's first Scout camp out. Once her head hits the pillow! Jeff has been quite stressed at work recently. When he came home, I could tell that getting outdoors had been good for him. He was clearly more relaxed and had had a good weekend. I, however, did not. I could have reported them missing by then! Life as We know It. Wednesday, July 23, 2014. We went to the beach. We actually went to the beach! Although we live four miles away from the beach, we just never go, which, if I lived in England, would be inconceivable. But I am not taking my non-swimmers to a beach where the waves are bigger than I am! And so we don't go. That it was as flat as a pancake!
