http://centralillinoisgourmand.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
An everyman's guide to dining out in the Peoria area (and occasionally NOT in the Peoria area)! Monday, March 10, 2008. Sky Harbor, Peoria. A couple of Saturdays ago we had an opportunity to visit an old favorite, Sky Harbor, just off Farmington Road by the Bradley Park lower entrance. A classic steakhouse, complete with bar in the middle of the room and corner band playing, Sky Harbor hasn't really changed since moving into this location some number of years ago. An everyman's guide to dining out in the Peoria area (and occasionally NOT in the Peoria area)! Tuesday, October 28, 2008. A few places along the way. Lemme see if I can remember a few of the most recent places we've been:. Dynasty Buffet-the one on North University, way out there: Lots of fun stuff like the Mongolian stir-fry section and the sushi section. I have to tell you, it's way overpriced. Dinner was 12 bucks a pop plus soda. Really? Whoever reads this, give me ideas on some new places to go!

An everyman's guide to dining out in the Peoria area (and occasionally NOT in the Peoria area)! Tuesday, April 29, 2008. Glad this thing is still here! I'm going to try and update this thing a bit more regularly. I don't type as much as I eat! We'll see if that changes. That having been said, on to a very quick political statement. I am supporting Senator Clinton at this point in the race. WHEN Senator Obama wins the nomination, I will be behind him 100%. Any Democrat who says, "if Senator (f...Windy Cit...

Adventures in arcade game repair!: Bowlingo - ME90 pinsetter
http://arcaderepair.blogspot.com/2007/11/bowlingo-me90-pinsetter.html
Thursday, November 15, 2007. Bowlingo - ME90 pinsetter. Mendes out of Canada was manufacturing the Bowlingo mini-bowling systems, it's a real good earner. Mendes has since gone out of business, however the system was bought up by Qubica/AMF and has been upgraded. For those of us with the older systems and ME-90 pinsetter, be advised that Qubica is doing a great job supporting the older pieces. In fact, chances are the tech you speak to is the one that probably installed your lanes.

An everyman's guide to dining out in the Peoria area (and occasionally NOT in the Peoria area)! Tuesday, October 28, 2008. River City Cafe, Peoria. For Bosses Day a few weeks back, me and some of my co-workers took our boss, Corey, out to lunch at the River City Cafe, located in the Associated Bank Building. Crowded place, it was. We managed to pull together a few tables and got to looking at the menu. They had a pretty wide variety of cold and hot sandwiches, fried items, and salads. Chef Kevin's Culina...
