Tuesday, October 03, 2006. T-Storms in the "Windy City". The weather in the "Windy City" is quite unstable. I imagine that working in the weather forecast around here must be quite exciting. Friday, September 22, 2006. Some facts about Chicago. This post is suppose to give you an idea about Chicago (a.k.a. Windy City)! I will updated whenever possible with new information. Check out this picture! Me at one of the bridges over Chicago River! Courtesy of Jordi Rifa. The name Chicago means "wild onion" or "garlic", a name given to this region by indigenous Potawatomi tribe (thanks Wikipedia, my guide did not have this information! The first star represents the Forte Dearborn Massacre of 1812.
