http://knittinglupie.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 23, 2015. Long time no post! I've been preoccupied with my with my grandchildren so I have not taken the time to keep up with my blog. I received a comment from someone in November and just checked it out. I would like to get in touch with Michelle who is a fellow lupie. I hope you are still looking at my blog and will comment again and leave me an email. I promise I will not publish the comment with your email address. I hope to do a post of the many FO's I have in the past few months.

Knitting with my Mother's Hands: May 2014
http://knittinglupie.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 22, 2014. My knitting basket sits with all my beautiful needles and unfinished projects crying out to be worked on. My hand is better but I fear that knitting will put me back to square one. I can't even watch my beloved podcasts because it makes me sad to see all the great projects everyone is working on. When I look at my grandkids I know I'm the most blessed women in the world! Sunday, May 11, 2014. On this Mothers Day. A new normal but knitting must go on! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Knitting with my Mother's Hands: September 2011
http://knittinglupie.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 11, 2011. I was teaching in a school across the river from the towers in New Jersey. The view outside my classroom window was the WTC and the Empire State building. A coworker saw the planes hit and I saw the towers go down. Many of the staff and students lost friends and family. I will never forget the smell in the air for days. I will not watch any of the 9/11 programing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of us who lived that day and must live with the pain and loss.

He will be here in November and I have so many more things I want to make for him. I'm not sure how to put links in so the next post will have the details of the little sweater. I love to learn new things and at my age I must keep my mind active. Thanks to my daughters I will enter my 60s with a young mind. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Posting On My iPad.

http://knittinglupie.blogspot.com/2014/04/no-knitting-for-awhile.html
Friday, April 18, 2014. No Knitting for awhile! My joint between the thumb and wrist is flairing up and I had to have a steroid injection today. I'm not sure when I'll be able to knit again but must care for the little ones Monday. My Lula got her hair trimmed by her mama. She's wearing hand made sweaters by Grandma. Here is my Benny wearing some of the hats I made for him. Antler Hat by Tincanknits. Turn a Square hat by Jared Flood. We moved to a new house after selling the home we lived in for 35 years.
