Knitterings: October 2014
http://knitterings.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. October is almost finished, only 4 hours to go, and I've managed to finish some stuff before the end of the month. Today I finished three things! Then you snip a stitch from the middle of the row. I used a darning needle to pull up the stitches until I got to the last stitch on each side, but I left those to keep the two sides connected neatly. I just left the loose ends until the heel was done, and then I pulled the ends tight and darned them in. I wonder if I can make one more...

Knitterings: NEWT 7 and NEWT 8
http://knitterings.blogspot.com/2015/08/newt-7-and-newt-8.html
Sunday, August 2, 2015. NEWT 7 and NEWT 8. Here's the last project for NEWT 7, a triangle shawl called "The Age of Brass and Steel", knit with my handspun, the N4ply mixes of Twelve and Peacoat. Love it. It's a Polwarth/tencel mix, so it's very soft (wearing it right now) and it was quick, and I love the colors. Lovely to knit, too, but I'm glad to get it finished. You know, so I could start another NEWT :). One other handspun finished this month:. Kathy's Fibres Optim in "Sunset". I'm on my way :).

Knitterings: September 2014
http://knitterings.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2014. I think I’ve figured out a way to post blogs with my little ipod. So this is something of a test; we’ll see how it turns out. I haven’t been able to post here for ages. My trusty old computer will not connect to the Internet, except the iTunes store, and I don’t know how to fix it. Annoying! So, last month…. I think I showed you the colorful handspun yarn? These are the entrelac gloves I made with it. These giant skeins are so fat! I love ‘em. Also, I got my new nephew!

Knitterings: August 2014
http://knitterings.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 9, 2014. Got a hold of some new cheap buttons, and a rainbow of Landscape dyes. That should keep me going for a while. Let's see. what else have I finished in July? What they look like when the frost thaws. Hehe. Love these, and in Wollmeise, too. Did I show you these already? An experiment in Navajo 4ply. Tricky to ply, but the effect, knitted up, should be interesting. Nice thick merino/faux cashmere. Soft and bright. And yarn number one for my next NEWT! Friday, August 8, 2014. Housek...

Knitterings: February 2015
http://knitterings.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Week off, week on. I got lots of knitting done in my 9 nights off, although it went quickly! Now I'm in the middle of 3 on, 2 off, 4 on. I finished a few spinning projects: the Valentine's Day one (Red Roses). It's soft, fat and shiny :). I got a bit further on with the Jaywalkers. I'm up to the start of the 5th rainbow, now, but I still have a fair way to go to finish them before the end of the month. Wonder how big it will end up being? Friday, February 13, 2015. I decided...

1 Second Everyday Craft Video from August. 1 Second Everyday Videos from June and July. I try to take a video everyday that I craft, and then I use the app 1SE (1 second everyday) to create these quick and fun videos. I don't always craft everyday (which is weird when I don't), and I don't always remember to take a video of it. I hope that you enjoy them. Here are 2 more purple baby hats that I crochet for A Child's Light. Charity. Here is the free pattern. For it. I used Plymouth Encore yarn and an ...

Knitterings: March 2015
http://knitterings.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 27, 2015. In the House Cup game. I play on Ravelry, the OWL for the subject of Charms is one I thought I'd never do. Your choices were: A) Knit something big and lacey, B) Spin laceweight yarn or C) Spin laceweight and use it to knit lace. Impossible to spin laceweight, and too hard to knit so much lace in only 3 months. So, in spite of the fact that I can't actually imagine wearing. This anywhere, I'm pleased to have finished this! Knit in my own laceweight handspun. Phew! Now I'm on holid...
