Percolating Petals: May 2012

http://percolatingpetals.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Two days after we lost Rachel, 3 prayer cards with this image arrived in the mail. Talk about a welcome sign from heaven:. Following the advice found in After Miscarriage. This past Saturday we had a small memorial Mass for Rachel at our parish. To our pleasant surprise, many of our friends and family came to the morning Mass (yeah, 8:15 am on a Saturday morning isn't always fun! My friend K, who came to the Mass with her family, penned a touching post recounting the Mass. And th...

Percolating Petals: A Different Kind of Lent

http://percolatingpetals.blogspot.com/2013/03/a-different-kind-of-lent.html

Friday, March 22, 2013. A Different Kind of Lent. I actually started this post a week ago, but life and a toddler's earache got in the way! A few years ago, my local bishop gave a talk on the topic of Lent. He compared the annual season to a spiral staircase; each year was another step, winding up and down through our lives. So this Lent has been a bit nonexistent in the staircase. And that’s OK. Really, my spiritual director said so. J. And that’s OK. Time to take another step. March 22, 2013 at 10:17 PM.

Hubbell Family Happenings: Snow, snow and more snow!

http://hubbellfamilyhappenings.blogspot.com/2013/02/snow-snow-and-more-snow.html

Monday, February 25, 2013. Snow, snow and more snow! We have been blasted with snow over the past week. We had over 12 inches and are expected to get another 12 tonight! The boys are having tons of fun. It reminds me of my childhood winters in Michigan. We had to get creative with snow so we had something to do during the MANY months of cold. I have been trying to pass on my "knowledge" to the boys ;-). Here are some pictures. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Cat stuck in tree. Path to peace baskets. Path to peace project. Someone told me the Index Journal did a story on the Rock House once and that I can go to the Library and look in the archives to get the true, original story. Somehow, I don't think we will ever know the true story behind the old Rock House, and each one of us will have our own story to tell. After close to 90 years, it still stands even after the vandals, the partiers, the visitors and ghost hunters. Mr. Tolbert set out to build a...One t...

Here's a great quickie project that you can do with craft scrap that you probably already have in your house! All you will need is:. Ribbon (length depends on your book size). One day last week as I walked around the yard and my daily walks through the woods, I saw tons of mushrooms, I thought I would capture a few:.
