Perennial Pastimes

Contemplating her gardens and her favorite pastimes. Friday, April 8, 2011. Hi followers, few though you are! Here's hoping it continues to work! Sunday, November 7, 2010. Thursday, September 9, 2010. I must say, the students have been interesting and fun. I am enjoying them immensely, if not the administrative workload. Teaching is still my innate strength. You should have seen them begging to read the books I brought in for them, almost trying to steal them. So far, I am having fun when...We had both d...

Perennial Pastimes: Wedding flowers

http://www.perennialpastimes.blogspot.com/2010/08/wedding-flowers.html

Contemplating her gardens and her favorite pastimes. Saturday, August 21, 2010. The hibiscus and anemone that I planted for Nicole's wedding are blooming, in time for her second anniversary coming up. I have just completed the final draft of my final project for the first of the two courses I took this summer. He says it weighs 116 pounds! Every day my husband comes home and waters his pumpkin patch so my vegetable garden has been well tended. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This blog has moved!

Perennial Pastimes: Phew!

http://www.perennialpastimes.blogspot.com/2010/09/phew.html

Contemplating her gardens and her favorite pastimes. Thursday, September 9, 2010. Our vacation was wonderful: camping with the family. I have wonderful beaver pictures to post but that will have to wait until Sunday. I have to believe I will have some time to call my own on Sunday. We came home late Monday evening, after spending the whole weekend at our family property camping with our children and their spouses. September 26, 2010 at 8:00 PM. Waiting for more updates. :). Perennial Pastimes: August 2010

http://www.perennialpastimes.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Contemplating her gardens and her favorite pastimes. Monday, August 30, 2010. We have been getting our family place in Knox ready for camping for a few weeks now. Heading to camp for some ice cold orange-ade. We had both days there this weekend and it feels like we really have the place ready for the family. We've taken inventory of the shed and swept and cleaned the outhouse. Notorious, nefarious outhouse. Looking at the shed. Those are the main things! Shadow loves the pond. Thursday, August 26, 2010.

Perennial Pastimes: Bird watching

http://www.perennialpastimes.blogspot.com/2010/11/bird-watching.html

Contemplating her gardens and her favorite pastimes. Sunday, November 7, 2010. It seems that work and courses at the Reading Institute have monopolized my time. I've hung up a bird feeder outside and already they are groups of birds regularly gathering in my back yard. Black-capped chickadees gather usually, but today the blue jays and cardinals added some color. It's a treat to watch them, and listen to the wind chimes, while I study at the kitchen table. Perennial Passion

Welcome to Perennial Passion. Saturday, October 31, 2015. Here it is Halloween 2015 and I have done absolutely Nothing! No table, no Halloween décor.so sad. Last Halloween I had this table all set. After a couple of years, I finally finished my paper-pieced (a quilting technique) chair covers. I think they go nicely with the witch hat I bought last year during the after Halloween sales. I put two big hairy spiders on my chandy. I love those full body skeletons! Links to this post. The End of Summer.
