Saturday, April 5, 2008. Fall plans in reality. I'm not sure a compost pile will work here because of the animals. I still need to do a little more investigating. I did experiment with bulbs, but I didn't plant them in the fall as I should have. Pretty sure these have not chance of coming up. They looked pretty rotten. Trying them anyway in front near the daylillies. I planted these to lighten up a fairly dark area. I chose these for color around the daylilies before they bloom. Sweet, if they bloom.

Move some daisies and coneflower to the side. Propogate more ground cover? Friday, July 27, 2007. Here are pictures of around the yard. I didn't add the butterfly garden because I ran out of film. My favorite right now is the balloon flower above. The buds look like balloons before they open. I was hoping for more blooms. I think I see one more. Maybe next year. The left side of the North side of cottage.
