Finally, a long run! December 7, 2012. I just ran 10k. Say what? Yes, yes sir. 10.1 freaking k. In the rain. I am awesome. Truthfully, I’m pretty proud of myself. December 19, 2012. I ran again tonight. Despite the evil thoughts in my head (you’re too tired, you ran last night)….I went for another short run. I’m still easing my way back into it and I know I won’t be running tomorrow. Just getting out there and keeping my lungs and legs pumping. Next run, 5k. I can do this 🙂. December 11, 2012. So, each day, I spend hours thinking of excuses of why I can’t run. I’m too tired, too busy, etc. Yesterday was no different. But then, a coworker brought be a bag of gummy candies (my favourite). I thought “oh, I’ll just have 3 pieces”. So fast forward 20 minutes. The entire bag was gone. Yep. Absolutely no self control. So, when I got home, despite the laundry list of excuses I had made, I laced up my shoes and went for a 6k run. Yay for me. This entry was tagged fitness.
