Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Out with the Old, In with the New. This is Evan tearing out part of the door frame in the house. My anxiety went up that week. Just another WordPress.com site. September 14, 2014. I find words to be clunky and imprecise. To communicate in words we first have to define a feeling then match it to a label that may or may not adequately express that feeling. Then we have to string those words together into some sort of cohesive and articulate sentence. It’s grueling. Dance/figure skating bypasses all of that; you can take a feeling and go straight to expressing it through movement. For me, it feels much more sincere and authentic.
